How it works

Points earned in 2022 will be worth 75 per cent, while points earned in 2023 will be worth 100 per cent.  The 12 men’s teams and the 10 women’s teams with the most points earned over the two seasons under this formula will form the L1O Premier Division, while the balance of teams will start the 2024 campaign in the second tier, the L1O Championship.

A new League1 Ontario third tier will also form from new clubs looking to join competition and work their way up the divisions to the Premier.
